A donor-advised fund can help you plan your generosity over time and involve your family in the ministries that matter to you. You contribute to a fund held by a sponsoring organization and recommend grants to eligible charities.
A fund can be established through either of our partners, FM Financial or the Butterfield Foundation. Our team can help you think through what you hope to accomplish and which partner fits your situation.
The sponsoring organization controls the contributed assets, while you retain advisory privileges under its terms. Establishing a fund is a separate decision from recommending a grant from a fund you already have.
